Senior User Experience Designer Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our digital transformation team.
The client is a government services provider, where you will have a chance to help improve and modernize the services that children with disabilities receive in the state of NC.
This position will work closely with the design lead, CX researchers, business analysts and developers in an agile team environment, and require engagement with various client stakeholders within our client and other service providers.
The UX Designer will be responsible for leading mixed-methods projects while working closely with cross-functional teams to champion the needs of users every step of the way.

Skills, responsibilities, experience:
- 4+ years of experience across user experience and service design programs and projects
- Build a deep understanding of our client's business, their customers and culture.
- Support execution of research studies, at times working closely with researchers.
- Synthesize data from research studies and co-creation sessions to identify key insights and translate them into actionable opportunity areas.
- Support the planning and facilitation of design sprints, co-creations sessions, and iterative prototyping.
- Produce journey maps, workflow diagrams, conceptual designs, and interactive prototypes towards client needs and outcomes.
- Understand and articulate value proposition for the creation and innovation of products and services.
- Craft and tell compelling stories to communicate insights, opportunity areas, and concept designs to a variety of audiences.
- Support the execution of new product and service experiences within client organizations.
- Experience working with design thinking, lean, or agile UX management methodologies.

Bonus points for the following:
- Experience managing design projects in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or life sciences industries.
- An advanced degree in social sciences, human factors, design, or another related field.
