Purpose of the Role:
Senior member of Randstad Advisory Services team that offers expertise, resources, and guidance to help clients succeed in their industry. Proven record of building client relationships that lead to selling, delivering, and expanding opportunities from current work, especially initial assessments.
Highlights of the Role:
You will act as a Principal in Advisory Services, including leading strategic and integration programs for enterprise-level transformations. This includes developing, socializing, and implementing a transformation strategy that may leverage agile, product, and other related approaches to meet the unique needs of the business. This includes understanding current state, envisioning future state, and developing enterprise-level recommendations and a corresponding roadmap to inform, guide, and support the organization’s ongoing evolution. You may have a leadership role over multiple client/vendor teams and be looked to as a trusted advisor by executive leaders, client teams, and delivery team members.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Building and Management:
- Establish, build, and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Lead client sessions to elicit business objectives and design practical, robust, prioritized solution approaches.
- Build relationships with all key parties and understand internal processes to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables.
- Serve as an expert resource to executives and senior management while providing input to assist in the development and enhancement of strategic direction.
- Define the client value and outcomes for all engagement deliverables and solicit feedback/gain buy-in from senior leaders across the client.
- Drive leadership engagement and alignment activities.
Core Consulting Skills and Team Management:
- Understand how to build a compelling story and develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations with influential recommendations and synthesized findings.
- Design and facilitate workshops to gather and confirm inputs.
- Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop recommendations for presentation to senior leadership at the client.
- Create a strategic roadmap for the client's executive team to guide their strategic plan, future state operating model, and capabilities required for the future.
- Stand up a program management function or COE structure to facilitate the execution of cross-functional and transformation programs.
- Provide project execution guidance to facilitate project delivery.
- Operate and drive teams with Agile principles and mindset.
- Demonstrate a keen sense of ownership and accountability for the overall success of the initiative.
Change Management:
- Design a clear, compelling case for change with buy-in from top leaders.
- Identify and develop stakeholder communications by working closely with business owners, product owners, and development team members as needed.
- Promote and drive organizational change best practices to allow teams to be better aligned and more collaborative in nature.
- Provide organizational change management tools to facilitate progress.
- Identify relevant performance and change management metrics to be monitored and measured.
- Support training efforts by reviewing and helping to manage the facilitation of training programs.
- Work with enterprise change management personnel as required.
- Regularly seek feedback to capture and incorporate lessons learned.
Operations:
- Complete project management deliverables including status reports, project planning, issue/risk management, and applicable actions within Celerity’s project management financial system.
- Establish and deploy project standards to allow for consistent operations, communications, and reporting across the program.
- In collaboration with Client Partners, contribute to strategic account plans by pursuing revenue growth opportunities and developing tactical plans to grow our presence, including creating and maintaining a yearly roadmap. Search for opportunities to fine-tune/adapt that roadmap based on new learnings, value creation, and commercial opportunities.
- Support the selling process in collaboration with the engagement leaders and (Senior) Client Partners.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is required; MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional work experience, including strategy and transformation consulting.
- A minimum of 5 years managing large projects with multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver strong presentations.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and results/reports into actionable recommendations for client stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively cross-functionally while appreciating diversity of thought.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Ability to influence and build consensus across disparate groups.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and personal work ethic.
- Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business transformation, change management, business development, product development, Agile, and project management.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
