External Description:

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:

• Support cloud based projects and cloud security initiatives focused on enhancing the security posture, ensuring compliance with security standards, and remediating potential or known vulnerabilities.
• Represent Information Security coordinating efforts across Information Security functional areas and key stakeholder teams as necessary to ensure cloud security initiatives are delivered successfully within budget and timelines.
• Create, coordinate, and/or maintain project plans. Actively work with project stakeholders to ensure the project timeline, tasks, dependencies, and deliverables on track to ensure coordination between the activities in the plan, and the individuals and groups performing them. Make necessary adjustments throughout the project life cycle and communicate to the project team, sponsor, and client accordingly.
• Track risks and issues so that impacts to the project's timeline, and/or quality are mitigated and/or minimized by project managers and teams. Escalate appropriately to the project sponsor.
• Responsible for internal and external project status communications. Conduct routine project meetings including core team, client, and others as needed. Create status reports per PMO governance policy. Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams as required.
• Manage the creation, impact analysis, and disposition of change requests so that the project's scope of work remains intact or changes when agreed to by project sponsor and the client.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in a cloud computing environment.  
• 3-6 years' experience with technology projects, preferably cloud integrations. Any experience with vulnerability management is a plus.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Project Management Certification preferred
